The Role: Senior Compliance Specialist

Unifonic is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is central to managing and enhancing the company's Compliance function, focusing on all compliance affairs to anticipate issues and develop proactive, practical solutions for the business. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
• Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Maintain open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communication and impact.
• Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates.
• Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain internal regulatory compliance by communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
• Apply for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and maintain a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
• Stay informed about compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain a compliance communication register and documentation.
• Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and violations.
• Remediate regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling gaps and action plans.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates for this role should possess 3+ years of experience in a relevant compliance function. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
