About the Role

Hiresquad Resources is seeking a Senior Credit Cards Product and Portfolio Expert for a contract position in Riyadh. This role is central to supporting the Head of Cards in defining and executing a bank's credit card strategy. The position focuses on driving portfolio growth, increasing customer engagement, maximizing profitability, and strengthening the bank's presence within the premium and platinum card segments. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Credit Card Strategy and Portfolio Management

• Develop and execute the overall credit cards strategy to increase spend, customer engagement, retention, and profitability.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, including product design, pricing, features, benefits, and portfolio enhancements.
• Drive portfolio performance by improving activation, utilization, spend per card, retention, and profitability.
• Optimize product P&L by effectively managing interchange income, fees, rewards, and operating costs.
• Design and enhance loyalty and rewards programs that increase customer engagement and everyday card usage.
• Recommend targeted campaigns and portfolio initiatives to improve product performance.
• Monitor product performance after launch and implement continuous improvements based on customer insights and business results.
• Support sales teams through product training, sales enablement, and portfolio knowledge sharing.

Digital Banking and Customer Experience Enhancement

• Champion digital-first customer journeys across acquisition, servicing, rewards, and engagement.
• Enhance mobile and online banking capabilities for seamless card management.
• Drive wallet integrations, fintech partnerships, and lifestyle ecosystem collaborations to improve customer experience.
• Leverage customer data and analytics to personalize offers, campaigns, and engagement strategies.

Operational Efficiency and Regulatory Compliance

• Lead system enhancements and process transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations while accelerating time-to-market for new initiatives.
• Improve onboarding, servicing, and operational processes to reduce turnaround times and enhance customer satisfaction.

Strategic Partnerships and Business Growth

• Manage relationships with international card schemes and strategic partners.
• Develop merchant, fintech, and ecosystem partnerships that increase card usage and customer value.
• Build differentiated partnerships delivering exclusive offers and premium customer experiences.

Leadership, Program Management, and Candidate Profile

This role requires leadership in complex, cross-functional transformation programs, from initiation through successful delivery and benefit realization. The expert will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring high-quality execution and adapting delivery plans to maximize business value. The position serves as the primary product and portfolio expert, providing strategic guidance and assuming leadership responsibilities when required, including mentoring internal teams and fostering a performance-driven culture.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Credit Card Product Management, Portfolio Optimization, Digital Banking, and Large-Scale Transformation Programs. A strong understanding of the Saudi banking ecosystem is essential.
