The Role of Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to protect the organization's information systems and data. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves implementing security measures, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Conduct investigations and analysis of security breaches and incidents.
• Implement and manage security tools and technologies to protect organizational assets.
• Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and management of systems and networks.
• Provide guidance and support to cybersecurity staff on security-related issues and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and security trends.
• Prepare and present security reports to the Line Manager.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the development and testing of incident response plans.

Compliance and Workplace Safety

• Promptly report any unsafe working conditions, faulty equipment, hazards/risks, injuries, or incidents related to personnel safety and environmental aspects.
• Comply with cybersecurity policy, procedures, and awareness programs.
• Comply with GDC ME quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and requirements.
