The Role of Senior Delay Analyst

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Delay Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Middle Oraija Dist, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing clients with expert advice on time-related construction claims through forensic analysis of project information and data. The successful candidate will contribute to significant construction and infrastructure projects within the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or defend extension of time claims, including conducting critical path delay analysis and drafting claim narratives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify delay events for claim submissions.
  • Apply industry-standard delay analysis methodologies to quantify delays on construction projects.
  • Produce high-quality analytical reports that establish cause and effect for construction delays and demonstrate entitlement to Extension of Time (EOT).
  • Undertake program critiques and delay analysis critiques.
  • Evaluate program updates, schedule integrity, and conduct forensic program reviews.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients clearly.
  • Support Delay Experts on construction disputes through fact-finding, detailed analysis, delay quantification, presentation of findings, and report writing.

Required Experience and Competencies

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role requires a strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles and the ability to apply critical thinking to analytical problem-solving.
