About the Opportunity

Tractebel is seeking a Senior Design Electrical Engineer (Ref MTYSHQ) for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to managing electrical design and engineering activities within large Thermal Power Projects. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Design Electrical Engineer will undertake a comprehensive range of tasks, including:

Preparation of specifications.
Coordination of design reviews.
Management of design works with the Contractor and Consultant.
Internal coordination with other disciplines.
Comprehensive design and engineering review of EPC-submitted Electrical discipline related documents, covering:
- Master Documents List (MDL), design criteria, schematic diagrams, SLDs, interface drawings, and load lists.
- Electrical Equipment General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Design calculations and studies.
- Manuals.
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and reports (if required).
- Construction, commissioning reliability, and performance test procedures and reports.
- Method statements for construction/installation.
- Vendor materials procurement review and review of proposed vendors/suppliers design/drawings.
- Design and field changes (as required).
- As-built drawings, IFC/AFC/AFI drawings, red markup, and as-built drawings.
- Electrical Hazop, Risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Evaluation of claims and change orders.
- Close-out report of LSTK Steam Power Plant Gas Conversion Project.
Managing all design review scope and activities for base and detailed engineering submittals, drawings, and documents.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, particularly within the context of large Thermal Power Projects.

Work Location

The position is based at the design office located at the project site in Riyadh PP #10/PP#14 Combined Cycle Power Plant. This site is approximately sixty (60) km from the Riyadh AlKharaj Road in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
