About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Director - Commercial to lead commercial strategies for landmark projects within the entertainment and leisure industry. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is open exclusively to Saudi nationals. The role involves navigating complex commercial landscapes to ensure initiatives align with the company's vision and deliver tangible outcomes.

Role Overview

The Senior Director - Commercial will spearhead commercial operations, focusing on maximizing value, mitigating risks, and leading contract negotiations. This position requires close collaboration with diverse teams to drive performance and optimize contract management from inception through delivery. The ability to manage stakeholder relationships and guide the commercial team through challenges is central to maintaining Qiddiya's standards.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives for major projects.
Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to secure favorable commercial terms.
Oversee contract management processes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth.
Foster relationships with external partners to facilitate collaboration and enhance project outcomes.
Mentor and develop the commercial team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
15+ years of experience in commercial management or contract negotiation within the construction or real estate sectors.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and contracts.
Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
Proficiency in commercial management tools and software.
