About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya (القدية), a leading entertainment, sports, and cultural destination, is seeking a Senior Director Development (Security) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the successful planning and execution of security projects within Qiddiya's ambitious development framework.

Role Overview

The Senior Director Development (Security) will lead cross-functional teams, overseeing security projects from concept through to completion. This position requires a robust understanding of the real estate development process and the ability to deliver innovative security solutions that align with Qiddiya's strategic vision. Demonstrated end-to-end experience in the development of security assets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC Region is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security development projects, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and strategy of Qiddiya Investment Company.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including operators, contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning requirements, and environmental standards throughout the development process.
• Monitor project progress and budget, implementing effective risk management strategies and cost management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, investors, and partners.
• Prepare and present project plans, reports, and updates to senior management and the board of directors.
• Coordinate and manage the projects team through the delivery process, to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with the approved design.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in development, with a focus on security assets.
• Demonstrated end-to-end experience in the development of security assets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC Region.
• Robust understanding of the real estate development process.

Team Leadership and Strategic Insight

The Senior Director will be responsible for mentoring and leading a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. This role also requires staying abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in development projects.
