About the Role

Zahran Facilities Management is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead the Electrical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) function for a large-scale project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires managing a department of approximately 140 personnel and ensuring the efficient operation of all electrical services. The role involves significant leadership and technical oversight within a complex facility environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a large electrical team, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Oversee electrical O&M, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), emergency response, and daily maintenance activities.
Plan and monitor manpower, maintenance schedules, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgets, and overall work performance.
Manage electrical systems, including Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, transformers, generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Main Distribution Boards (MDBs), and Distribution Boards (DBs).
Manage contractors, vendors, procurement processes, materials, and maintenance resources.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including NEC, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, HSE, and Saudi regulations.
Manage Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) / Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical services.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant electrical O&M experience, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
Proven experience managing large teams, preferably 100+ personnel.
Strong experience in large-scale facilities, projects, hospitals, or residential/commercial facilities.
Strong knowledge of PPM/CM methodologies, electrical systems, NFPA, NEC, and safety requirements.
Saudi or GCC experience is preferred.
