With a global presence across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, the company supports leading organizations on complex and high-impact programs with a diverse and growing team.

Role Overview

Efficio is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join its Riyadh office for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This strategic and hands-on HR role supports the growing business in Saudi Arabia. The Senior HR Advisor will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers, and employees, translating business priorities into practical, people-focused solutions. The role combines strategic business partnering with hands-on delivery across various HR functions. The position is based in Riyadh, with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders, managers, and employees in Saudi Arabia, serving as the primary contact for people matters.
  • Translate business plans, workforce needs, organizational risks, and local regulatory requirements, including Saudization, into clear people plans.
  • Coach managers on team dynamics, feedback, employee development, and sensitive conversations.
  • Manage employee relations matters with sound judgment, appropriate documentation, confidentiality, and consistency.
  • Provide practical guidance on Saudi Labour Law, its Implementing Regulations, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development requirements, company policy, and HR best practices, engaging legal counsel when necessary.
  • Support managers on performance, conduct, probation, grievance, leave, and workplace support matters.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding/offboarding administration, employee contracts, background checks, absence/leave administration, and employee requests/verifications.
  • Manage Qiwa and GOSI requirements, including employee registration and government portal actions, coordinating with the GRO as relevant.
  • Coordinate payroll-related HR administration with Finance and payroll providers, ensuring accurate and timely employee data.
  • Maintain HRIS records and employee data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with local requirements.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, and the global People team on workforce planning, talent, reward, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Utilize people data and employee feedback to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve employee experience.
  • Contribute to scalable policies, processes, manager guidance, and local engagement initiatives across the Saudi Arabia business.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role with significant business-partnering responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience using Saudi government platforms, particularly Qiwa and GOSI, with the ability to manage related employee registration and compliance actions independently.
  • Working knowledge of Saudi employment law, its Implementing Regulations, local employment requirements, and Saudization programs, with the judgment to identify risk and seek specialist advice when appropriate.
  • Experience managing employee relations and advising managers on performance and sensitive people matters.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong stakeholder-management, coaching, and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and balancing strategic priorities with hands-on operational delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using HRIS and people data.
  • Discreet, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.

Work Type

This is a contract position for a duration of 12 months.
