About the Role

شركة سليمان الراجحي العقارية is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for conducting risk-based audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role focuses on identifying areas for improvement to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency within the organization.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Internal Auditor plays a critical role in strengthening the company's governance and risk management framework. This involves a comprehensive approach to internal auditing, from developing audit plans to monitoring the implementation of corrective actions, ultimately contributing to the company's overall integrity and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct risk-based internal audits and identify key risks and control weaknesses.
Develop audit plans, programs, scopes, and testing procedures.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
Perform audit testing, analyze financial and operational data, and identify exceptions and irregularities.
Prepare audit working papers, document findings, and develop practical recommendations.
Communicate audit findings with relevant departments and review corrective action plans.
Prepare audit reports and present significant findings to the Internal Audit Manager.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify corrective actions.
Contribute to fraud risk assessments, special audits, and investigations.
Utilize data analytics tools and technology to enhance audit effectiveness and quality.
Maintain independence, objectivity, and confidentiality while adhering to applicable professional standards and company policies.
Contribute to the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) and maintain continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate internal controls and risk management processes.
Proficiency in developing audit plans and testing procedures.
Experience in preparing comprehensive audit reports and communicating findings effectively.
