Senior Manager Accounts

About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager Accounts to lead and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across the organization.

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager Accounts will provide strategic and operational leadership for accounting functions. This includes ensuring adherence to accounting standards, governance requirements, and internal controls, while supporting business and financial objectives. The role is also responsible for driving financial excellence through effective team leadership, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function and oversee all financial accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and policies.
• Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial close activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Review and approve financial statements, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal control frameworks.
• Monitor and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other accounting processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, regulatory filings, and audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial analysis activities in collaboration with finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements across accounting functions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams while fostering a high-performance and compliance-focused culture.
