The Senior Manager District Cooling Role

As a Senior Manager District Cooling, you will be a key professional within Mace, serving as a delivery partner for a significant mixed-use development. This programme includes major sports facilities, entertainment venues, and arts complexes, alongside all associated infrastructure. The role involves leading integrated teams throughout various project phases, focusing specifically on district cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead district cooling planning, design review, and technical evaluation of District Cooling Plants (DCPs), Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems, Energy Transfer Stations (ETS), and chilled water networks.
• Review district cooling hydraulic modeling, plant sizing, load analysis, and energy optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and authority requirements, and support the development of technical standards, guidelines, and operational strategies.
• Evaluate centralized and decentralized cooling solutions based on technical and commercial feasibility.
• Coordinate scope interfaces between DCPs, chilled water networks, ETS, power, and utility systems.
• Participate in district cooling technical reviews, value engineering workshops, and stakeholder coordination meetings.
• Review master plans and district cooling technical specifications.
• Review and approve concept, schematic, detailed design, and Issued For Construction (IFC) deliverables.
• Lead technical evaluations, district cooling design optimization, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates for this full-time position must possess over 10 years of experience in relevant fields. The role requires high-calibre and experienced professionals capable of leading complex district cooling projects and ensuring technical excellence and compliance within large-scale development programmes.
