About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Photogrammetry Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Photogrammetry Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all collected and analyzed data meets applicable geospatial data standards and policies. This involves processing data using photogrammetric software to generate accurate 3D models of objects or terrain. The specialist will collaborate with other geospatial professionals to integrate photogrammetry data into broader geospatial products and apply analytical and creative skills to develop optimal photogrammetry outputs. Continuous monitoring of data processing and analysis is essential to maintain quality and timeliness. A key aspect of the role includes assisting in the development of new photogrammetric techniques to enhance precision, accuracy, and output speed, while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current photogrammetry platforms and tools.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Collect and process aerial and satellite imagery for geospatial data and intelligence products.
• Utilize photogrammetric software to generate accurate 3D models of objects or terrain.
• Ensure all collected and analyzed data adheres to applicable geospatial data standards and policies.
• Collaborate with other geospatial specialists for data integration.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in photogrammetry roles, exceeding 10 years, is required. Professional certifications in photogrammetry or remote sensing technologies, such as ASPRS Certified Photogrammetric or ASPRS Remote Sensing Technologists, are preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in photogrammetry principles and technologies.
• Skills in software such as Erdas Imagine, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and Trimble Inpho.
• Creativity and the ability to use photogrammetry technology to create digital elevation models and orthorectified imagery.
• Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
