The Senior Planner (Track & Infield) Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Planner (Track & Infield) to contribute to this major programme in a part-time capacity. This role involves leading integrated teams throughout various project phases, applying high-calibre planning and scheduling expertise. The Senior Planner will be instrumental in driving performance through effective project controls methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on complex project requirements, providing clear analysis and recommending effective corrective actions.
• Lead the planning and scheduling delivery for medium- to high-complexity projects and programmes.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and broader project controls methodologies to drive performance.
• Communicate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Develop robust plans and interpret trends using numerical and statistical techniques to inform decision-making.
• Support senior leadership in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and business development activities.
• Work collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition goals, sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction, programme, project, or commercial management.
• Progression toward chartership with a recognised professional body and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
