About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Risk Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation, with a strong focus on risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation for various projects.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues across different project phases.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans for construction projects, including procedures for risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.
  • Conduct frequent meetings with clients, consultants, and other management teams to discuss project status and risks.
  • Predict potential financial liabilities for the Division based on data from various sources.
  • Handle costs, claims related to cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, to quality standards, and within the agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodologies.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and risk engineering.
  • Strong background in pre-construction management, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost control.
  • Proficient working knowledge of schedule management and the sequence of activities from pre-design through design development, construction, and closeout.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and implement risk management plans.
  • Experience in managing costs, claims, change orders, and conflict resolution.

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various stakeholders including clients, consultants, and contractors.
