Senior Project Risk Engineer

About the Role

Hill International is seeking a Senior Project Risk Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation, with a strong focus on risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation for various projects.
• Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues across different project phases.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive risk management plans for construction projects, detailing procedures for risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.
• Conduct frequent meetings with clients, consultants, and other management teams to discuss project progress and risk-related matters.
• Predict potential financial liability for the Division based on data from collieries, relevant authorities, and internal sources.
• Handle costs, claims associated with cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, to quality standards, and within the agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
• Inform oneself of relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International, ensuring continuous compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience and Background

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pre-construction management and extensive experience in project risk engineering.

• Over 10 years of experience in project risk engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in pre-construction management, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost control.
• Good working knowledge of schedule management and the sequence of activities from pre-design through design development, construction, and closeout.
