The Role: Senior Protection Testing Engineer

ESC Company is seeking a Senior Protection Testing Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and execute protection testing activities for power systems and their associated equipment, ensuring operational integrity and compliance with project standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Review technical documentation relevant to protection systems.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Conduct functional testing of protection relays and schemes.
• Execute tests in strict accordance with established project standards.
• Analyze test results thoroughly and document all findings.
• Prepare detailed test reports for both internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers and site teams.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety and quality requirements.
• Provide support for commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical issues pertaining to protection systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures.
• Support client inspections and audits as required.
