About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Solutions Architect to join the Security Assurance Services (SAS) team. This role is based in Riyadh and is a full-time position. The SAS team focuses on developing scalable security solutions for internal and external customers to achieve business objectives, emphasizing reliable delivery of security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation.

Role Context

The AWS Security Assurance Services team collaborates with large enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model during their cloud migration. This position is designed for Governance, Risk, and Compliance leaders skilled in addressing the complexities of migrating systems and workloads to the cloud, and in advising executives on enterprise risk management using scalable computing architectures. The role involves educating customers on how product-led, people-powered services enable secure operations on AWS and facilitate the achievement of compliance objectives, operating at the intersection of cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams comprising Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define and guide teams in developing innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers, enabling faster migration of sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Address security assurance questions and provide guidance on risk management and compliance achievement within the AWS Cloud through in-depth discussions, strategic recommendations, and demonstrations of compliance automation.
• Convey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams to influence AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
