About the Opportunity

IOTA GROUP is seeking a Senior Site Director to support a strategic program for a global leader in energy management and industrial automation. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves the delivery of multiple hyperscale Data Centers. The position is offered on a 12-month renewable contract basis, with a part-time work type.

Role Summary

The Senior Site Director will take full ownership of construction, installation, and commissioning readiness across multiple Data Center sites. This critical role operates within a fast-track environment, ensuring on-time delivery under aggressive schedules, strict budget control (CAPEX / OPEX), adherence to the highest quality standards for hyperscale facilities, and zero harm HSE performance. The role requires seamless coordination across multiple contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead simultaneous Data Center construction sites.
• Drive site execution strategy and daily operational decisions.
• Manage critical systems, including MEP, MV/LV, UPS, HVAC, and generators.
• Control project schedule and critical paths, implementing recovery plans as needed.
• Handle contractual aspects such as variations, claims, and change orders.
• Ensure commissioning readiness, including FAT/SAT, punch lists, and QA/QC.
• Enforce strict HSE standards across all site activities.
• Interface with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 15–20 years of experience in industrial, energy, or Data Center projects.
• Proven track record on hyperscale or mission-critical Data Centers.
• Strong expertise in MEP and electrical systems (MV/LV, UPS).
• Experience in fast-track, high-pressure project environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage demanding clients and complex interfaces.
• Previous experience in the Middle East is considered a strong advantage.

This role contributes to a high-visibility strategic global program focused on complex, high-impact, multi-site delivery within the Data Center sector. Success in this position is measured by milestones achieved on time, zero major HSE incidents, controlled costs with limited variations, full client satisfaction, and sites ready for commissioning without delay.
