Senior Software Engineer Oracle Banking (m/f/d)

About the Role

Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Banking to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in Oracle banking solutions and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise

• Developing and optimizing solutions using Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking (FCUBS) and Oracle Treasury (FX, MM, Derivatives, Repos, Securities).
• Working with Oracle Limits and Collateral Management (LCM) and performing PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Utilizing Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c), Java/J2EE, and WebLogic Server Administration.
• Implementing UI technologies such as Oracle ADF and Oracle JET, alongside XML/XSD/XSLT.
• Developing and integrating REST and SOAP Web Services, including integration with SWIFT (MT103, MT202, MT300, etc.).
• Managing exposure and limit monitoring across various products, collateral management, and exposure utilization.
• Working with Oracle SOA Suite/Middleware Integration and optionally Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX).
• Scheduling batch jobs using tools like Control-M and Autosys.
• Supporting Core Banking Modules (Accounts, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance) and Risk and Interest Rate Management (Treasury).
• Implementing real-time limit checks and updates.

Required Skills and Methodologies

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodology.
• Ability to create functional and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Treasury Back Office Operations, including Deal Capture, Settlement, and Confirmation.
• Understanding of Secure Coding and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Awareness of Basel III, IFRS, and other regulatory compliance standards.
• Providing testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Possessing strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Demonstrated ability in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Experience in mentoring and conducting code reviews.
• Optional experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in software engineering with a focus on Oracle Banking solutions.
