Senior Specialist Business Planning

About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Specialist Business Planning to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting the Marketing function's strategic objectives, annual business plans, and key initiatives. The Senior Specialist will ensure alignment between departmental priorities, organizational goals, and workforce plans, while also facilitating effective performance tracking and governance across the Marketing organization.

Role Context and Impact

The incumbent will collaborate closely with Marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This involves driving planning cycles, monitoring performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and providing insights that contribute to informed decision-making and the successful delivery of business objectives. The role is critical for maintaining strategic coherence and operational efficiency within the Marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and coordination of the Marketing annual business plan and operational plans.
• Monitor progress against strategic objectives, KPIs, and departmental targets, consolidating updates from various Marketing teams.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual business reviews and track critical initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of Marketing strategic priorities and initiatives, including evaluating strategic projects and growth opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry benchmarks, and strategic developments.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and executive materials to support strategic discussions and decision-making.
• Support workforce planning activities, maintain trackers, and coordinate with HR and Finance for alignment.
• Assist in budget planning, tracking, and reporting for Marketing initiatives and projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Marketing leadership and develop performance tracking tools.
• Support governance meetings through agenda preparation, coordination, minutes, and action tracking.
• Engage with Marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and consolidate business updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting, governance, and performance management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in business planning, performance management, or strategic execution.
• Demonstrated ability to support the development and coordination of business and operational plans.
• Experience in monitoring progress against strategic objectives and KPIs.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, presentations, and executive materials.
• Familiarity with workforce planning and budget coordination activities.
