Role Overview

Worley Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architecture Consultant, Buildings, to join its Master Planning & Facilities team. This full-time role requires a professional with several years of architectural experience and a strong commitment to design delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects to successful outcomes, while also supporting networking and business development activities for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as an intrinsic part of the architectural leadership team, leading practice growth and delivery.
• Proactively engage in networking, seeking new opportunities and clients, with support from the wider EMEA Architecture and Master Planning team.
• Lead responses to sales opportunities, RFPs, and sales proposals, coordinating efforts and developing competitive bids.
• Ensure effective communication with existing and new clients, design teams, internal Worley colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Apply creative, responsive design thinking and a solutions-based approach across all work.
• Prioritize and plan work, track progress, and monitor targets to ensure timely deliverables.
• Nurture client relationships by understanding their needs and developing tailored architectural solutions.
• Fulfill the requirements of an Architect of Record.
• Lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality design and adherence to sustainability principles, local rules, and regulations.
• Manage client relationships and project objectives, timelines, and budget requirements effectively.
• Coordinate design groups, fostering a collaborative and proactive team environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A recognized and relevant Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent, leading to registration as a Professional Architect/Engineer.
• Several professional years of architectural experience.
• Experience in feasibility studies and early optioneering, including establishing site capacity and potential.
• Experience across all stages of an architectural project, from pre-concept/Pre-FEED to Concept/FEED, detailed design to IFC.
• Demonstrable experience in concept design, conceptual brainstorming, or architecture competitions.
• Experience in business development and the ability to develop and nurture new client relationships.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in Industrial Environments or experience in industrial architecture.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Good knowledge of KSA local technical codes and regulations.
• Ability to identify and propose solutions that will have the greatest positive impact on a master plan or building project.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge and understanding of innovative practices, particularly related to AI and the use of software, striving for continuous improvement.
• Exceptional presentation skills, utilizing media effectively and impactfully to suit the audience and project.

Work Location and Engagement

This full-time position is based in Worley's Dammam office. Daily attendance is required to engage with project and sales teams, lead client interfaces, and maintain key client relationships. Worley operates in both Riyadh and Dammam.
