Site Engineer Electrical (Substation)

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Engineer (Electrical Substation) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supervising and coordinating electrical installation activities for 380kV Substation projects, ensuring adherence to SEC standards, approved drawings, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control & protection systems, and cable works.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings, and overall project requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity to ensure the achievement of project milestones.
• Prepare comprehensive site reports, inspection records, and work completion documentation.
• Provide support during testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, with a range of 5-10 years, in EHV/HV Substation Projects, preferably 380kV.
• Experience in SEC projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Familiarity with SEC standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Candidates who are SEC/Client-approved will be given preference.
• Immediate joiners and candidates with transferable Iqama are preferred.

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the interview process.
