Mozn is an Enterprise AI company focused on Financial Crime Prevention and Enterprise Knowledge Intelligence. We are seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of AI solutions within a collaborative environment.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Software Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our transaction monitoring modules. This position encompasses three primary areas: ensuring a clean and healthy codebase with efficient development processes, delivering an evolving roadmap to meet client requirements, and leading a team of engineers to high standards through continuous improvement, hiring, and mentoring. The role involves ownership of systems critical for detecting financial crime.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the strategy for your team and the transaction monitoring modules it manages.
Guide and mentor engineers, assisting them in their career development while maintaining team cohesion.
Build scalable and reliable services through ongoing improvements to engineering processes.
Collaborate with product managers to lead team projects, managing stakeholders, dependencies, roadmaps, alignment, and cost.
Actively contribute to the evolution of our overall architecture, particularly for systems and products managed by your team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading or mentoring engineers.
Proficiency in building complex, high-quality applications.
Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture.
Demonstrated expertise in selecting design patterns and principles when developing software architecture.
A detail-oriented communicator who works autonomously and performs effectively within a fast-moving team.
