About Oracle and the Role

Oracle – Egypt is seeking a Solution Consultant - Utilities to join its team in Riyadh. Role Overview

The Solution Consultant - Utilities will be responsible for designing and implementing complex business solutions using Oracle products and technology. This role requires a deep understanding of Utilities business processes and regulatory requirements to deliver integrated solutions that benefit customer organizations and users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise judgment and business acumen to design non-routine and complex business solutions using Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
  • Understand Utilities business processes and regulatory requirements, analyze existing landscapes, and recommend beneficial solutions and designs.
  • Contribute to statements of work, work breakdown structures, level of effort, and staff plans.
  • Present and demonstrate solutions to customers.
  • Build and maintain a professional network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge.
  • Transition product knowledge effectively to customer users.
  • Lead domain-specific solution design aspects of engagements, ensuring high-quality and integrated business solutions.
  • Anticipate project risks and suggest mitigation strategies to the project manager.
  • Resolve complex customer issues by recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or the ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Deep understanding and experience with Oracle Utilities solutions, including Oracle Utilities CC&B - Customer Care & Billing, Customer Cloud Services, Customer to Meter, and CX4U.
  • Solid background in solution consulting and testing strategies, software delivery, systems integration, or consulting, with high proficiency across data platforms or utility infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing requirement gathering processes.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, particularly with cross-cultural, distributed project teams in the Middle East.
  • Strong understanding of technical architectures, data flow, and utility-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies in line with PMI best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams, coach junior team members, and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a structured, analytical mindset.

Work Environment and Travel

This role operates in a dynamic environment, requiring the ability and willingness to travel across the Middle East as needed to support customer engagements and project requirements.
