Solutions Architect

About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a Solutions Architect to design end-to-end cloud, data, AI, and Generative AI solutions. This full-time position in Riyadh involves addressing complex business and technology requirements while adhering to architectural best practices, security standards, performance objectives, and cost optimization goals. The role requires collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing solution architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-level and detailed designs across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, applications, data platforms, DevOps, and modernization initiatives.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation approaches, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead presales activities, including RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), technical presentations, solution estimations, Statement of Work (SOW) development, client demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Provide architectural leadership to Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Security, Data, and Cloud Operations teams throughout the opportunity and delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure successful solution implementation, integration, security, resilience, operational efficiency, and business value realization.
• Contribute to cloud migration and modernization programs, digital transformation initiatives, cloud-native adoption, and AI/Generative AI engagements.
• Develop reusable architectures, service offerings, accelerators, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong Solution Architecture skills with proven experience in designing scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient enterprise solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architectures, including a strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, integration, observability, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience designing and delivering AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including identifying practical AI use cases and translating business requirements into technical architectures.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration, modernization, application transformation, and digital transformation programs.
• Strong consulting and business process skills, with the ability to analyze client requirements and recommend value-driven solutions.
• Strong presales experience, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, SOWs, solution estimations, technical presentations, workshops, and client pitches.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for various stakeholders.
• Strong software development and systems integration knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• Understanding of cloud economics, TCO, cost optimization, and ROI, with the ability to balance technical and commercial considerations.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work on-site in Riyadh, collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams, and manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified AI Practitioner.
• Experience working with enterprise and government clients in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and requires on-site presence. The Solutions Architect will work within cross-functional and multicultural teams, managing multiple engagements in a dynamic consulting environment.
