Spa Assistant Manager

About the Role

Boutique Group is seeking a Spa Assistant Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role supports the Head of Wellness in managing the daily operations and ongoing development of the Spa. The Assistant Spa Manager ensures exceptional guest experiences in alignment with Boutique Group standards, maintains operational efficiency, and contributes to team morale and financial management.

Operational Management

• Oversee all Spa and Salon areas, including Front Desk, Fitness Facilities, Locker Rooms, Relaxation Lounge, Treatment Rooms, and Retail spaces, ensuring adherence to Boutique Group standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality and cleanliness, coordinating with housekeeping, laundry, and engineering for prompt issue resolution.
• Integrate spa operations with hotel services, aligning with wellness trends and guest needs.
• Manage administrative duties, including requisitions, inventory control, and cost-effective usage of spa products within budget guidelines.

Team Leadership and Development

• Interview, train, and supervise Spa employees, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for staff professional development.
• Host regular staff meetings to communicate hotel updates, policies, and strategies for enhancing sales and service.

Guest Experience and Engagement

• Ensure high-quality guest experiences by upholding the Spa’s luxury service standards and responding to guest feedback.
• Coordinate group bookings and conduct on-site spa tours for meeting planners and VIPs.
• Represent the spa in external events and activities that align with its philosophy and enhance its visibility.
• Practice the company’s legacy values and competencies in all team and stakeholder interactions, serving as a role model.

Retail and Financial Support

• Manage retail operations, including creating purchase orders, organizing inventories, and ensuring products align with guest preferences and spa themes.
• Analyze sales trends and collaborate with the Spa Manager to identify opportunities for enhancing retail offerings.
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and tracking labor and expenses to maintain financial efficiency.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of PR events and internal and local promotions to drive guest engagement and revenue.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure adherence to Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Participate in internal standards testing and support various departments to maintain operational excellence.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a hazard-free environment for staff and guests.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in spa operations or a similar luxury service environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
