Spa Receptionist

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Receptionist for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves managing spa service schedules, assisting guests with bookings, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the spa reception. The Spa Receptionist will be a key point of contact for guests, providing information and processing payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule services for individuals and groups using the spa/salon reservations software system.
• Contact guests to confirm scheduled services and answer questions about available offerings.
• Update reservations and cancellations throughout the day, informing providers of last-minute changes and resolving scheduling conflicts with management.
• Check in guests for appointments, confirm their details, and provide a general spa orientation upon arrival.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services to guests.
• Manage assigned bank, ensuring accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining necessary change, and maintaining bank security.
• Process guest payments for services and obtain payment authorization as required.
• Accept and log cash tips for employees, then balance, scan, and submit receipts to Accounting.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the Engineering department.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and foster positive working relationships.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
