About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Spa Therapist to join their team in Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah. This full-time role involves providing a range of spa services to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout treatments. The position requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver massage services using appropriate props and products.
Provide body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before commencing services.
Stay informed about current techniques and modalities relevant to spa therapy.
Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
Regularly check with guests to ensure comfort, safety, and security during services.
Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail products.
Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies at the end of each shift.
Adhere to the daily time schedule.
Address inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International's standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor.
Maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all required safety training and certifications.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating objects.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in a spa or related service environment. A strong understanding of various massage techniques and body treatments is essential, along with a commitment to guest satisfaction and adherence to professional standards.
