About alfanar Group

alfanar Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer Product Development Cooling, Data Center to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to the design and development of advanced infrastructure solutions within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to design, engineer, and develop customized containerized data center power modules. This involves ensuring the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems, tailored to specific client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer customized, containerized data center power solutions in line with client specifications and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for the integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and internal engineering guidelines.
• Analyze project requirements, technical constraints, and operational conditions to define optimal power module configurations.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility assessments to support design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues arising during product development and system integration.
• Implement design enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability of data center power solutions.
• Identify and recommend innovative engineering approaches, components, and materials to optimize product performance and cost.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through design standardization and lessons learned integration.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 10-15 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.
