About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer Product Development Cooling Data Center to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to designing, engineering, and developing customized containerized data center power modules. The role involves ensuring the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment, contributing to the delivery of high-performance data center solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and engineer customized, containerized data center power solutions in line with client specifications and ETO requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for the integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and internal engineering guidelines.
• Analyze project requirements, technical constraints, and operational conditions to define optimal power module configurations.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility assessments to support design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues arising during product development and system integration.
• Implement design enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability of data center power solutions.
• Identify and recommend innovative engineering approaches, components, and materials to optimize product performance and cost.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through design standardization and lessons learned integration.

Operational Accountabilities

• Maintain and update soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Ensure quality requirements are met and develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in product development, engineering, or a related field, particularly within data center cooling or power solutions.
