About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer Product Development Electrical, Data Center to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is dedicated to the design and engineering of advanced power solutions within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment. The role requires a focus on developing customized containerized data center power modules.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to design, engineer, and develop customized containerized data center power modules. This involves ensuring the seamless integration of critical electrical systems, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems, to meet specific client specifications and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer customized, containerized data center power solutions in line with client specifications and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and comprehensive technical documentation for the integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, specifications, and internal engineering guidelines.
• Analyze project requirements, technical constraints, and operational conditions to define optimal power module configurations.
• Conduct thorough engineering evaluations and feasibility assessments to support informed design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during product development and system integration phases.

Technical Focus

A significant aspect of this position involves expertise in the integration of various critical electrical components. The engineer will work directly with MV/LV switchgear, transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, and Static Transfer Switch (STS) systems, ensuring their effective and reliable operation within the data center power modules.

Experience and Qualifications

This role requires 0-1 years of experience, focusing on product development in electrical engineering, specifically within data center environments. Candidates should demonstrate foundational knowledge in the design and integration of power systems and related electrical components.
