Sr. Merchandiser

About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Sr. Merchandiser for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is central to ensuring optimal product presence and promotional execution within traditional trade outlets, contributing directly to sales opportunities and market compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize on-shelf product presence and execute in-store sampling and promotions as required.
• Ensure compliance with approved planograms and report any deviations to the pre-seller.
• Provide current market information to support sales opportunities.
• Manage store execution through the PACE Merchandising System, maintaining accurate data.
• Support Perfect Store compliance and achieve defined performance KPIs.

Store Execution and Compliance

• Visit assigned traditional-trade outlets according to the daily journey plan.
• Merchandise products at access points, shelves, stands, and floor displays, placing POS materials where applicable.
• Maintain approved planograms, rotate stock using the FIFO method, remove substandard items, and ensure shelves are clean and fresh.
• Monitor competitor activities and report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlets.
• Report daily activity and participate in sampling or redemption campaigns when required.

System Management and Performance Monitoring

• Record every visit accurately in the PACE Merchandising System and adhere to the assigned journey plan.
• Maintain accurate photos, counts, and timestamps; avoid manual or offline reporting, and close all system action items.
• Meet execution, journey-plan, system-outcome, distribution, and Perfect Store compliance measures.
• Monitor market developments, support sales methods and promotional programs, and estimate sales volume for assigned stores.
• Prepare sales reports and recommendations, storing them in the designated database under approved procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, focusing on in-store execution and market presence within traditional trade channels.
