The Role: Structural Engineer

SHAR Company is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, hybrid position where the Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems for various construction projects. The role ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant codes and standards, primarily working on-site with flexibility for remote tasks as project needs allow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and conduct comprehensive structural analysis.
• Prepare and review drawings and models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in design meetings.
• Support site teams by addressing structural queries.
• Address design changes or issues that arise during construction phases.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong competencies in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Proven skills in structural analysis and calculations to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural systems.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for preparing, reviewing, and updating structural drawings and models.
• Experience in building or infrastructure projects within the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with relevant design software (*, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or similar) and basic project management practices is beneficial.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring primary on-site presence with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely as project requirements permit.
