Succession Planning Assistant Manager

About the Role

stc is seeking a Succession Planning Assistant Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for developing and implementing succession planning strategies for key leadership positions within the stc Group, including Chiefs, VPs, and GMs, in alignment with the Center of Excellence's strategy. The role also involves implementing executive coaching for L2 and above, and coaching programs for critical roles, while adhering to established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the succession planning approach, framework, governance, and templates.
• Implement stc Group succession planning for Chiefs, VPs, and GMs according to the HR Center of Excellence strategy.
• Develop and implement succession planning for stc subsidiaries, specifically for Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and N-1 positions, and conduct annual quality checks.
• Develop and implement GCEO and CXO scorecards, ensuring all succession-related KPIs are achieved and on track, in alignment with planning and performance across stc units.
• Govern succession plans for Director and below (Key Roles) positions developed by HRBPs and subsidiaries to ensure compliance with stipulated policies, frameworks, and guidelines.
• Coordinate vacation planning for GM level and above to ensure appropriate succession coverage.
• Identify development needs for approved successors.
• Review and update NRC materials related to succession planning and secure necessary approvals for succession plans.
• Manage and review succession plans with the Executive Leadership Committee on an annual basis.
• Conduct succession awareness sessions and knowledge transfer with relevant stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in succession planning or a related HR field. The role requires a strong understanding of HR strategies and the ability to implement complex planning frameworks within a large organizational structure.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the stc organization. The role involves working closely with various leadership levels and HR teams across the stc Group and its subsidiaries.
