About the Role

Four Points in Riyadh is seeking a Full-time Supervisor-Stewards to lead and support efficient clean-up operations within its kitchen and banquet facilities. This role involves directing a team of stewards, ensuring adherence to cleaning standards, and providing essential support to culinary and event teams. The Supervisor-Stewards will play a key part in maintaining operational efficiency and hygiene.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct and assist Stewards to ensure efficient clean-up operations, including monitoring appropriate water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning.
• Assist management with various human resources tasks such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks, including assisting with banquet plate-ups and providing needed items.
• Support banquet and buffet operations by transporting items and ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Return cleaned items to their proper designated locations.

Operational Standards and Equipment Management

• Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Team Collaboration

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
