About the Role

Talents First - Executive Search & Selection is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Quality Engineer to join a leading industrial company in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers a base in either Riyadh or Dammam.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Supplier Industrialization Quality Engineer will work directly with suppliers to enhance quality, manufacturing efficiency, capacity, and cost performance. A key objective is to ensure suppliers are prepared for new product introductions and increased production volumes. This is a hands-on, supplier-facing role focused on engaging directly with manufacturing teams to drive measurable improvements on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier quality, manufacturing process, and VDA audits.
  • Assess supplier capacity, processes, equipment, and production readiness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and lead corrective and continuous improvement actions.
  • Support suppliers in improving CP/CPK, cycle time, yield, and quality performance.
  • Lead supplier quality problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
  • Review PFMEA, control plans, process flows, and work instructions.
  • Support APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection activities.
  • Support new product introduction, ramp-up, volume increases, and localization projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on Lean, Six Sigma, process control, and mistake-proofing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Production, Automotive, or Electrical.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier engineering.
  • Demonstrated strong experience working directly with suppliers on quality improvement and industrialization.
  • Experience in automotive, industrial, consumer, or electronics manufacturing sectors. Experience with elevator systems is a plus.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and 8D methodologies.
  • Experience with VDA , Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma principles.
  • Knowledge of capacity analysis, time studies, and line balancing techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Environment and Travel

This full-time position is based in Riyadh or Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive travel to supplier sites, estimated at approximately 15 days per month.
