System Integration Manager Rail

About the Role

Egis is seeking a System Integration Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and overseeing the integration of all railway systems, including infrastructure, stations, and operational interfaces for a major railway project. The manager will ensure seamless coordination and alignment across all systems and disciplines to deliver a safe, efficient, reliable, and operationally ready railway in line with project objectives and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Systems Integration Management Plan and integration strategy for the project.
• Lead the coordination and integration of all railway systems, including signalling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Manage system interfaces between rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, and operational environments.
• Establish and maintain system interface registers, ensuring all interfaces are identified, tracked, coordinated, and resolved.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated and consistent system design outputs across all project stages.
• Ensure effective integration between infrastructure, stations, operational systems, and external interfaces, including airport-related systems where applicable.
• Coordinate interfaces with operational stakeholders, authorities, operators, contractors, and specialist system providers.
• Facilitate systems integration workshops, technical coordination meetings, and interface resolution sessions.
• Support Systems Engineering activities, including requirements management, interface management, verification, validation, and traceability processes.
• Coordinate with Configuration and Requirements Management teams to ensure alignment and integration across all systems.
• Identify and manage integration risks and interface conflicts, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead system integration reviews to ensure all interfaces and operational requirements are properly addressed and resolved.
• Monitor integration progress and support timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, including FAT, SAT, SIT, integrated testing, trial operations, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, railway standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
• Support construction and delivery teams by ensuring clear understanding and management of system interfaces during implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in system integration, preferably within railway projects.
