The Systems Commissioning Engineer Position

The Systems Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive commissioning and validation of critical ICT and control systems within data center environments. This full-time role involves ensuring the operational integrity and performance of complex integrated systems, contributing to the reliability of mission-critical infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Commissioning and validation of data center ICT systems, including fiber optic backbone, network redundancy, and structured cabling.
• Support for Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and commissioning software platforms.
• Development and validation of BMS points lists, cause-and-effect matrices, and sequences of operation for data centers.
• Integration of BMS/EPMS with SCADA and DCIM platforms.
• Network redundancy, alarm management, and dashboard validation during Integrated System Testing (IST).
• PLC, SCADA, and control logic testing for data center systems.
• Integration of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems into centralized control platforms.
• Verification of automated responses during failure and disaster recovery scenarios.
• Commissioning of physical security systems for data centers, including access control, CCTV, perimeter protection, and Security Operations Center (SOC) integration.
• Integration testing with BMS, fire alarm, and emergency response systems.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in systems commissioning, particularly within data center environments.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity awareness in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with high-security AI or hyperscale facilities.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage and execute commissioning activities for data center projects.
