TCG Retail Manager

About the Role

Noble Horizon is expanding its business portfolio in Saudi Arabia with the launch of Art of Cardz (AOC) in Riyadh. AOC is a specialized retail concept focused on Trading Card Games (TCG), collectibles, and hobbies, integrating retail, e-commerce, graded collectibles, accessories, organized play, and community experiences. The TCG Retail Manager will be responsible for the commercial, operational, and community performance of the AOC retail store in Riyadh, a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience.

Role Purpose and Context

This role drives sales and profitability, leads the store team, manages high-value TCG inventory, and ensures a positive experience for players, collectors, and customers. The position requires strong knowledge of trading card games and collectibles, including sealed products, individual cards, product releases, grading, authenticity, market trends, tournaments, and organized play. The manager will contribute to establishing a professionally managed retail operation and a destination for TCG enthusiasts in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales and profitability targets for the store.
• Monitor sales performance, customer traffic, conversion rates, and product margins.
• Manage TCG product inventory, including Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, and sports cards, ensuring correct pricing, display, storage, and handling of high-value items.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, staffing, cash handling, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the store team, supporting recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Community and Organized Play team to deliver tournaments, leagues, trade nights, and other community events.
• Ensure a welcoming and knowledgeable environment for all customers, resolving complaints and building customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement loss prevention measures for high-value products.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within a related hobby or collectibles sector.
• Strong knowledge of Trading Card Games (TCG) and collectibles, including product releases, market trends, and organized play formats.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Experience in team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Proficiency in inventory management and loss prevention strategies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
