About the Role

Deemah is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to achieving our engineering objectives through the implementation of suitable and effective action plans within our maintenance department.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of engineering processes by maintaining critical systems and adhering to established protocols. The Technician will play a crucial part in supporting production and upholding quality standards across all maintenance activities, contributing directly to the department's overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures, and controls that govern all maintenance department activities.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant procedural and legislative requirements, including those mandated by the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO9001 standards.
• Take responsibility for the continuous maintenance and updating of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) software.
• Perform software programming for the machines' PLCs to optimize performance and functionality.
• Ensure the consistent availability of essential spare parts to minimize downtime and facilitate timely repairs.
• Act as a key point of contact for external machine suppliers, managing communications and coordination as required.
• Provide immediate and effective support to production operations in the event of any mechanical or system breakdowns.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While specific experience levels are not detailed, a background demonstrating proficiency in the technical duties outlined, particularly with PLC systems and maintenance procedures, is essential for this role.
