About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is centered on performing essential preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities. The position requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience who is dedicated to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through direct client interaction.

Role Overview and Contribution

The Technician operates as an individual contributor, working under the guidance of a mentor to deliver outputs that meet specific operational targets. This role involves explaining technical facts, operational practices, and company policies to both internal teams and external customers. A key aspect is the ability to address and resolve issues within existing systems and processes, often requiring minor adjustments, and applying specialized knowledge within a defined operational scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing tasks.
• Deliver work outputs in accordance with specific operational targets, and occasionally within broader operational objectives that significantly impact the job area.
• Communicate facts, practices, and policies effectively to both internal colleagues and external clients.
• Correct or resolve identified issues and problems within existing systems and processes, making minor modifications as needed.
• Address problems and issues that typically fall within a single job area or discipline, characterized by a well-defined scope.
• Apply specialized knowledge pertinent to commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical field.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to apply broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices when addressing more vaguely defined problems.
