About the Temenos Transact Functional Consultant Role

Müller's Solutions is seeking a Temenos Transact Functional Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the implementation, customization, and support of our Temenos Transact (formerly T24) core banking system. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring the platform is configured to optimize banking operations.

Role Purpose and System Integration

The primary purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the Temenos Transact environment. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering detailed requirements, and delivering functional solutions that meet high standards of quality and efficiency. This involves working across various core banking modules to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end-users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Configure and customize the Temenos Transact system to meet specific business needs across modules such as Retail Banking, Deposits, Lending, Payments, and Treasury.
Provide deep functional expertise in key Temenos Transact domains, including Retail & Corporate Banking (Account creation, Customer Information, Transactions) and Debits (Savings, Current, and Term Deposit accounts).
Work closely with technical teams to specify and validate the development of customizations, including new fields, versions, menus, and routines using Temenos TAFC/TAFJ.
Lead and participate in system testing cycles, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
Support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, encompassing data migration, go-live activities, and post-production support, including troubleshooting and resolving functional issues.
Create detailed functional specification documents, configuration guides, and user manuals, and conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
Advocate for and implement Temenos best practices and standards throughout all project phases.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Temenos Transact Functional Consultant.
Demonstrated expertise in the implementation, customization, and support of Temenos Transact (T24) core banking systems.
Strong understanding of various banking operations and modules, including Retail & Corporate Banking, Deposits, Lending, Payments, and Treasury.
Proficiency in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing functional solutions.
Experience with system testing methodologies, including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
Familiarity with Temenos TAFC/TAFJ for validating technical customizations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team focused on core banking system solutions.
