Tendering Team Leader

About the Role

EDECS is seeking a Tendering Team Leader to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring the accuracy, feasibility, and compliance of deliverables with tender requirements, providing technical guidance, and supporting the preparation and coordination of technical proposals. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review technical submissions for completeness, accuracy, and quality, ensuring consistency with tender requirements and client specifications.
• Manage tender schedules and deadlines, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and taking corrective actions to ensure timely submission.
• Participate in technical clarification meetings with clients, addressing concerns, clarifying ambiguities, and explaining proposed solutions to strengthen the bid.
• Assist in developing project methodologies and execution plans, providing technical input and coordinating with planning and engineering teams to ensure sound and achievable approaches.
• Coordinate with various teams to prepare integrated technical submissions, facilitating communication, aligning deliverables, and resolving conflicts or inconsistencies.
• Allocate and monitor daily tasks for team members, assigning responsibilities based on capabilities and workload, tracking progress, and addressing bottlenecks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical tendering or a technical office role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a team-leading capacity.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working within a dedicated tendering team.
