About the Training Intern Role at Alstom

Alstom is seeking a Training Intern to support the Training & Competency team in Riyadh. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to training activities and cross-functional engineering and operational tasks, fostering knowledge development and inter-departmental collaboration.

Role Overview and Reporting Structure

The Training Intern will work closely with the Training & Competency team, reporting hierarchically to the Training & Facility Manager. The primary focus is to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs and related administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs and Learning Management System (LMS) activities, specifically on the Alstom University Platform in Riyadh.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of training reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Dashboards utilizing LMS tools and Power BI.
• Act as a liaison between the Training Department and other departments such as Production, Operations, and HR to support training and competency needs.
• Participate in cross-functional projects by providing analytical, administrative, and technical support related to engineering and operational activities.
• Aid in identifying training needs through collaboration with various departments and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of training materials and learning solutions.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating external training sessions, including communication with suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to Alstom procedures and standards in all training-related activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Training Department and support innovation in learning approaches.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in all activities, in line with Alstom standards.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Computer Diploma or a similar qualification.
• Fluent English language skills; proficiency in other languages is considered a plus.
