The Role of Travel Agent

Webook is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel Agent - IATA Certified (Amadeus GDS) to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves managing the complete booking lifecycle for corporate and leisure clients, from initial reservation to post-ticketing operations. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Amadeus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) for flights, hotels, cars, and ancillary services within Amadeus.
• Construct and price fares, including published, private, and corporate rates, and issue tickets.
• Process reissues, revalidations, voids, refunds, and Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs) in adherence to fare rules.
• Proactively handle schedule changes, irregular operations (IROPs), and cancellations.
• Advise clients on itinerary options, fare structures, visa requirements, and other travel-related information.
• Manage daily queues to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure accuracy in BSP reporting.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and suppliers regarding waivers and group requests.
• Deliver high-quality service across various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat, and manage escalations effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience as a Travel Agent.
• IATA certification is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage end-to-end travel reservations independently.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, hands-on position based in Riyadh, where the Travel Agent will work within the ******* team to deliver seamless client experiences.
