UH60 Mechanic

About the Role

GDC Middle East (الشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات) is seeking a UH60 Mechanic to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves performing essential aircraft maintenance tasks on the UH-60M, adhering to OEM manuals and relevant directives. There is potential for future training and transfer to an AH-6i mechanic position.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure UH-60M aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve operational readiness objectives.
• Comply with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports to provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
• Establish daily maintenance operational goals, objectives, and priorities to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives.
• Oversee the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
• Work within maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
• Direct inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to UH-60M aircraft aviation maintenance and supporting activities to the PC Manager.
• Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures in coordination with the PC Manager.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.
• Execute duties and responsibilities within broad guidelines, with significant choice of methods, and retain authority to select and implement goals and objectives.

Aircraft Maintenance Duties

• Remove and install aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components, including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components.
• Service and lubricate aircraft systems, subsystems, and components.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions.
• Utilize common measuring tools, precision measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures.
• Conduct routine and special inspections of aircraft and related components.
• Perform maintenance operational checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
• Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
• Prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records.
• Ensure all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Proficiency in performing maintenance tasks on the UH-60M aircraft.
• Familiarity with OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and other pertinent directives.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on maintaining operational readiness for UH-60M aircraft within a structured maintenance framework.
