Role Overview: Visual Merchandiser, Bloomingdale's

The Visual Merchandiser for Bloomingdale's in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for developing and implementing visually appealing displays and layouts. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the aesthetic appeal of products and the store environment, from in-store setups to window displays, in alignment with brand and store guidelines. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative displays, including window and interior setups, ensuring they align with store and mall guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager, VM team, Floor Managers, Marketing, and retail teams to execute merchandising plans.
• Monitor stock levels of visual merchandising materials and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate supply.
• Ensure all stock is prepared (steamed, tagged, priced) according to brand standards and visual guidelines.
• Monitor product performance (slow and fast sellers) and provide observations and recommendations to the Visual Merchandiser.
• Support the maintenance of display equipment, mannequins, and props, ensuring proper dismantling, packing, and storage.
• Attend brand and buying team training sessions to maintain display standards and provide feedback reports when requested.
• Train store staff on Visual Merchandising standards to ensure consistent visual presentation.
• Stay informed on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to innovate store displays.
• Oversee the quotation process, production, and execution of setups by internal teams or external contractors.
• Manage visual merchandising initiatives within the allocated budget, seeking cost-effective solutions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising.
• Ability to create engaging and innovative product displays.
• Understanding of retail guidelines and brand standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Organizational skills for stock and project management.
