About the Waiter Role at Marriott International

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Waiter to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on building memorable and unique guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage service. As a Guest Service Expert, you will proactively deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests thoroughly enjoy their meals.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with kitchen staff.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a professional manner.
• Cleaning work areas and supplies to maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensuring all guest interactions and transactions contribute positively to the overall guest experience.

Workplace Standards and Expectations

• Creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
• Adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
• Upholding high-quality service standards consistently.
• Maintaining a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style at all times.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods throughout shifts.
• Moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Managing menus, including reading and visually verifying information.
• Engaging in hands-on work, which involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Successfully performing these duties, along with other reasonable job duties as requested, is crucial for consistently delivering excellent service for our guests and our business.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a guest service or hospitality role, preferably as a Waiter.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and perform the duties outlined for the role.
