Wood Factory Production Engineer

About the Role

Zeoof Group is seeking a Wood Factory Production Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing and optimizing production activities within a wood factory setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of resources and timely project delivery.

Role Overview

The Wood Factory Production Engineer plans, coordinates, and monitors all production activities to ensure the efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity. This position focuses on developing production schedules, coordinating material readiness, monitoring manufacturing progress, and ensuring projects are delivered according to established priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on project priorities and delivery schedules.
• Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), Work Orders, material availability, and production readiness before releasing jobs to production.
• Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
• Monitor daily and weekly production progress against approved plans, identifying delays, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
• Monitor machine utilization, manpower productivity, and production capacity to optimize production loading.
• Coordinate production priorities across multiple projects to ensure efficient execution and timely delivery.
• Ensure production schedules are aligned with project requirements, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
• Prepare and submit production reports covering progress, productivity, capacity utilization, material readiness, and production delays.
• Identify opportunities to improve production planning, resource utilization, workflow efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
• Monitor production-related inventory requirements and material consumption in coordination with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate production planning data, schedules, and reports within the ERP/MRP system.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in production engineering, preferably within a wood factory or similar manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Zeoof Group. The role requires active participation in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with various internal teams to achieve production goals.
